If you have been requested to confirm that your Ontario company is in good standing you would need to order an Ontario Certificate of Status. The certificate will say:
- The name of the company
- The date of incorporation
- The Ontario Corporation Number assigned to the Company
- Language confirming the company has not been dissolved.
Some institutions that may ask you to provide a Certificate of Status for an Ontario company may need additional information to show on the Ontario Certificate of Status. In Ontario it is not possible to vary the language on a Certificate of Status.
